| The Access Center
was established by Rector of Technical university of Košice as a special
pedagogical workplace on July 1, 2000 and it is output of TEMPUS Phare project.
AC is located at the TU Košice and it serves also for two others Universities
in Košice, University of Pavel Jozef Šafárik in Košice and University of
Veterinary medicine in Košice.

Mission of Access Center
The mission of the Access Centre is to ensure that all students with disabilities have equal access to educational opportunities at Technical University, University of Pavel Jozef Šafárik and University of Veterinary medicine so they can participate, freely and actively, in all areas of University life.
Main roles
- technical advisory activity
- technical aids support during study and training, including special
software training
- methodical and learning support for students with disabilities
before and during an university study
- provide information and advisory service for public and teachers at
Universities
