  • Software – optical character recognition Recognita is a professional optical character recognition (OCR) program which converts printed or typed paper documents into computer editable and storable text. Recognita is a good solution for the visually impaired to read books and newspapers. All functions and features of the Windows-based Recognita Plus 5.0 program are accessible for the visually impaired, using only the keyboard. So it has also become easier to have printed documents recognized and spoken aloud with the help of a voice synthesizer and the appropriate software. >From now on, visually handicapped people can use this software to convert their Braille printed documents into normal, electronic text and have them read out by the computer using a voice synthesizer and the appropriate software.

  • Braille display A braille display is a tactile device consisting of a row of special 'soft' cells. A soft cell has 6 or 8 pins made of metal or nylon; pins are controlled electronically to move up and down to display characters as they appear on the display of the source system - usually a computer or braille note taker Má elektronicky riadené výstupky, ich počet je 8. The number of cells in a braille display has been designed to manufacturers to suit the text modes of computer screens. Full size braille lines are 80 cells long.

  • The Twinkle Bright magnifies text and pictures making use of the computer screen to display these images. In combination with magnification software, partially sighted can carry on working with their PC like regular sighted people. The base function are controlled autofocus, magnification range 3 - 30 times, pushbutton automatic magnification control, pushbutton automatic contrast & brightness control.
  • MicroLink FM system

  • The MicroLink has two basic components: The FM transmitter for the speaker, the HandyMic for your personal use or the MicroVox for educational purposes and MicroLink - the FM receiver - for the listener. The FM transmitter picks up the speech signals right at the source and transmits them as radio signals directly to the MicroLink receiver connected to the hearing aid. The signals are sent directly to the ear without losing intensity, and with minimal background noise.
  • Headmaster

  • Mouse emulator head mounted pointing system The HeadMouse sensor replaces the standard desktop computer mouse for people who cannot use their hands. The HeadMouse is a device that translates the movements of a user's head into directly proportional movements of the computer mouse pointer. The HeadMouse is a wireless optical sensor which tracks a disposable target that is placed on the user's forehead or glasses. When this capability is combined with an on-screen keyboard, the HeadMouse can completely replace the functions of a conventional keyboard.
  • WiViK

  • WiViK provides an on-screen keyboard which lets to use a pointing device to select keys instead of conventional typing. Clicking or dwelling on the key WiViK sends it to a word processor, e-mail message, web page, or other text-based applications. For more efficient typing, WiViK also include Word Prediction and Abbreviation Expansion. Begin typing a word. When it appears in the prediction list, you can choose the word and WiViK will finish typing it. Abbreviations represent entire sentences.
  • JOUSE

  • JOUSE is a joystick-operated mouse that is controlled with your mouth. Moving the joystick moves the cursor. Mouse button activations can be made with the sip, puff, and bite switches built into the JOUSE. Typing and other keyboard functions can be achieved through an on-screen keyboard such as WiViK. JOUSE requires minimal movement and can be operated with the mouth or chin. Nothing is attached to the operator, providing complete independence. JOUSE mounts easily to a desktop.

  • The Conversor is a miniature Radio-Microphone system for use with hearing aid, and requires no direct connection to the hearing aid. Hearing aids compensate for the lowering of sound level by amplifying sound. However, most hearing aids are unable to replicate Aural Focus due to the way they pick up and amplify all of the sounds from around the wearer. The Conversor addresses this problem by making use of the best features of your hearing aid at the same time as eliminating the undesirable ones. This allows to focus your hearing aid on desired sounds, near or far.

  • Everest

  • The Index Everest is a doublesided (interpoint) and singlesided fast braille embosser, with stable handing of cut sheet paper. It is easy to use and produces very high quality braille onto cut sheet paper. Braille printout from Everest is ready to be used immediately. Everest is controlled by an ink and braille labelled front panel. Combined with the speech feedback it is easy to install and operate by blind and sighted users alike.
  • InfraLight II

  • InfraLight II is the cordless infrared sound transmission system. The solution takes the form of an under-the-chin receiver which is as light as a feather and a small transmitter box connected to the TV. The open hearing system does not block out other noise, so you are always in contact with other people.
  • RadioLight

  • RadioLight, the cordless radio sound transmission system. An under-the-chin receiver which is as light as a feather and a small transmitter box connected to the TV or HiFi. This enables the volume to be individually controlled - on separate channels - and with individual bass and treble settings. The settings are not affected by the room.
  • Amplifier for Mobile Phones PL 100

  • PL-100 for inductive amplification The amplifier generates a loop signal which can be received by a hearing aid with a built-in telephone coil. This option is activated by setting the hearing aid to "T" or "MT". The loop signal is amplified by turning the volume control until a comfortable level is attained.
  • Lisa - Cordless Signaling System

  • A signaling system is primarily used for converting acoustic signals (such as from the doorbell, telephone or your baby crying) into optical signals or vibrating pulses. A signaling system consists of at least one transmitter and one receiver. The transmitter picks up acoustic signals and converts them into radio pulses. These radio pulses are transmitted via the normal electrical mains system or, with the lisa Radio Converter, "through the ether". The receivers convert the radio signals into light or vibration signals.
