Solid State NMR Laboratory

Solid State NMR Laboratory  has been built up at the Department of Physics in the framework of the project "Completion of Building up of a Modern Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Laboratory" that is a part of the state programme of research and development "Complex Solution of Support and Effective Use of Science and Research Infrastructure". The co-ordinator of this project is the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and other institutions participating in the project are Comenius University in Bratislava, P.J. Šafárik University in Košice, Technical University of Košice, Institute od Chemistry and Institute of Measurement Science, Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava. The institutes and departments participating in the project create National Centre of NMR in Slovakia. (video)

Solid State NMR Laboratory at the TU of Košice is equipped with Varian NMR System 400 MHz and as a part of the Slovak National NMR Centre

  • will provide education and access to solid state NMR techniques for teachers, researchers, undergraduates and PhD. students,

  • will meet requirements of academic, industrial and agricultural research and development in Slovakia,

  • will provide access to solid state NMR methods for the projects included in the state programmes, projects of basic and applied research, international projects at universities and SAS institutes, and for research at other institutes and institutions doing commercial research and development.
