We are pleased to announce that the registration for the FP7 Information Day on "ICT for environmental management and energy efficiency"
has just been launched and is accessible online from CORDIS site.
This event will take place on 21 May 2007 in Prague (Masaryk Conference Centre, Thákurova 1,160, 41 Prague 6, Czech Republic).
Its main objectives will be:
- to present the research topics for which proposals will be called for in 2007 in the field of ICT for Environmental Management and Energy Efficiency (Objective ICT-2007.6.3);
- to understand available research instruments and get guidelines on how to submit a proposal;
- for the participants, to network and present eventual research ideas in relation to the call (max. 5 min. presentation, common PowerPoint template).

The 1st ICT call of the 7th Framework Programme was published 22 December. The deadline for ICT Call 1 is Tuesday
8 May at 17.00 local Brussels time. FET Open has also been launched. The call information is available on CORDIS:

Work Programme 2007-08 (14. 12. 2006)
ISTC (Information Society Technologies Committee) so súhlasom EC umožnila zverejniť pracovnú verziu ICT/7FP WP 2007-2008 aby sa ICT komunita mohla lepšie vyjadriť k RTD trendom v tématickej oblasti ICT v rámci podprogramu "Cooperation". WP sa bude pravidelne obnovovať a v budúcnosti bude WP vždy spojený s danými výzvami a výsledkami účasti v opovedajúcej výzve.

Call for FP7 experts
We are pleased to inform you that the FP7 experts' site has now been launched (EMM – "Experts Management Module").
This is effectively the first supporting application for FP7 visible to the outside world

Experts can register already as of now. Organisations will be allowed to recommend their experts after the launch of the official call,
which is currently expected to be published in the Official Journal of the EU on 15th December 2006.

EUROP WORKSHOP - Robotics Call
The EUROP workshop will be organised on
December 6th in Paris. This one-day event will have theme: FP7 Robotics Call. The objectives of this workshop are to provide information about the first FP7 Call, hold discussion in working groups around the main topics of the call, and lastly provide a networking opportunity for members.
